I am hearing whispers in the wind of an “Web 2.0″ technology. Please help me understand this shorthand speak for what appears (from some slight context) to be another version of Internets.

Web 2.0, an off-the-shelf internet, is an outdated technology and is no longer available in stores. Trisha can order Web 3.5.1 Wild Cat for Mac.

Isn’t that where two people can use the same internet sight at the same time?
That might be crazy talk, I know.
